BAHAWASANYA Fasal (2) Perkara 55 Perlembagaan Persekutuan memperuntukkan bahawa BETA boleh memprorog Parlimen:

DAN BAHAWASANYA wajar dan sesuai Penggal Keempat Parlimen Malaysia

Yang Kelima Belas yang bermula pada tiga hari bulan Februari, dua ribu dua puluh lima, ditamatkan pada dua belas hari bulan Januari, dua ribu dua puluh enam:

Yang di-Pertuan

Agong bagi

Negeri-Negeri dan wilayah-wilayah

Malaysia, pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan kepada BETA sebagaimana yang tersebut di atas

MEMPROROG Parlimen yang tersebut mulai dua belas hari bulan Januari, dua ribu dua puluh enam.

DIPERBUAT di Istana Negara BETA di Kuala Lumpur, Ibu Kota Persekutuan, pada dua hari bulan Januari, dua ribu dua puluh enam.

BY HIS MAJESTY THE YANG DI-PERTUAN AGONG,

BY THE GRACE OF ALLAH,

SUPREME HEAD OF THE STATES AND TERRITORIES OF MALAYSIA

SULTAN IBRAHIM

Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVII

WHEREAS Clause (2) of Article 55 of the Federal Constitution provides that WE may prorogue Parliament:

AND WHEREAS it is desirable and convenient that the Fourth Session of the

Fifteenth Parliament of Malaysia which commenced on the third day of February, two thousand and twenty-five, shall terminate on the twelfth day of January, two thousand and twenty-six:

NOW THEREFORE, WE, SULTAN IBRAHIM, by the

Grace of Allah, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of the States and territories of Malaysia, in exercise of the powers conferred on US as aforesaid PROROGUE the said Parliament with effect from the twelfth day of January, two thousand and twenty-six.

GIVEN at OUR Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur, the Federal Capital, this second day of January, two thousand and twenty-six.
