SELF-EMPLOYMENT SOCIAL SECURITY ACT 2017
SELF-EMPLOYMENT SOCIAL SECURITY (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2024
IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 83(2)
of the
Self-Employment Social Security Act 2017 [Act 789], the Minister makes the following regulations:
Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the Self-Employment Social Security
(Amendment)
Regulations 2024.
(2)
These Regulations come into operation on 1 June 2024.
Amendment of regulation 26 2.
The Self-Employment Social Security Regulations 2018 [P.U. (A) 326/2018], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in regulation 26—
(a)
in paragraph (3)(a), by substituting for the words “two thousand ringgit”
the words “three thousand ringgit”; and
(b)
in paragraph (3)(b), by substituting for the words “two thousand ringgit”
the words “three thousand ringgit”.
Substitution of Third Schedule 3.
The principal Regulations are amended by substituting for the Third Schedule the following schedule:
